SKS For Sale Cheap

Ok, I got you!

Actually, I used to own an SKS.  I bought it in the early 1990s and sold it around 1996.  I paid about $80 for the thing, and sold it for about the same amount.  Last time I checked, they’re going for around $350.  And they’re not even that great.  I probably shot it less than ten times.  And honestly, I prefer my Marlin 336 lever-action deer rifle with a scope (it’s very difficult to mount a scope on an SKS), or even better, my Bushmaster XM15-E2S with 4-16×40 scope.

This fear of “assault rifles” is ridiculous.  First of all, if it can’t go full-auto (machine gun), it’s not a true assault rifle.  Therefore, the “legal” definition of the term is flawed, and must be defied and overturned.  The legal definition of “assault rifle” must be aligned with the military definition of the term.  If the military says it isn’t an assault rifle, no law can make it an assault rifle.

Just my two cents’ worth.
